Troubleshooting & FAQ

This section helps you diagnose and fix common issues when using CasinoFlux.

Most problems fall into one of four categories:

  1. Setup issues
  2. Tracking issues
  3. Data discrepancies
  4. Infrastructure issues

Before assuming something is broken, identify which category you are in.


Setup Issues

My Site is live but I see no data

Check the following:

  • Has the Site received any traffic?
  • Is the Site URL loading correctly?
  • Are analytics events visible in Site Analytics?

If Site Analytics shows data but reports do not — tracking is working. Revenue or conversions may not have occurred yet, or are still within the ~24h delay window.


My Casino Entry data looks incomplete or wrong

Possible causes:

  • The Casino Entry was fetched via API but not reviewed after creation
  • The affiliate platform does not expose certain fields
  • The Offer is pointing to the wrong deal or campaign ID

Always review Casino Entries after creating an Offer. The API fetch populates the entry automatically, but deal-specific fields (bonus terms, deposit limits, license) may need manual verification.


I cannot create an Offer

Common reasons:

  • Required fields are missing
  • Incorrect affiliate platform selected
  • API credentials are invalid or incomplete

Solution:

  • Re-check platform-specific requirements in the Affiliate Platforms section
  • Verify credentials directly on the affiliate platform
  • Ensure your affiliate account has API access enabled

My Offer is not showing on the Site

An Offer must be:

  • Set to Active status
  • Tagged to the Site

Pausing an Offer removes it from the Site's daily fetch. Tagging it to the correct Site is required for it to appear.


Tracking Issues

Clicks are not registering

Check:

  • The Site URL is correct and resolving
  • No redirect loops exist
  • Traffic is being sent to the correct destination

If using Cloudflare, verify SSL settings and ensure no conflicting redirects are enabled at the Cloudflare level.


Conversions are not appearing

Possible causes:

  • Postback URLs are not configured in the affiliate platform
  • The affiliate platform does not support the event type
  • Traffic has not generated qualifying conversions yet

Steps to debug:

  1. Confirm the Campaign is active and connected to a traffic source
  2. Verify postback URLs are saved in the affiliate platform dashboard
  3. Send test traffic if possible and check for registration events

I expected revenue but see none

This is usually not an error.

Revenue data is delayed by design — it is pulled via API and typically updates within ~24 hours. This is standard across all affiliate platforms.

Check again after the next sync cycle. Real-time conversion events (registrations, deposits) are only available if postback tracking is configured — find these under the Postback menu, not in Site Overview or Site Report.


Data Discrepancies

CasinoFlux numbers don't match the affiliate platform

Common reasons:

  • Timezone differences between platforms
  • API update delays
  • Event qualification rules differ
  • Platform reporting lag

CasinoFlux prioritizes normalized historical accuracy. Compare data only after the revenue sync has completed, time ranges are aligned, and filters are consistent.


Traffic source shows more conversions than CasinoFlux

Possible causes:

  • Duplicate conversions being counted by the traffic source
  • Different attribution windows
  • Invalid or disqualified events filtered by the casino platform

CasinoFlux only records valid events confirmed by the casino platform.


EPC looks wrong or too low

Early EPC is expected to look misleading.

Reasons:

  • Revenue has not synced yet (up to 24h delay)
  • Click volume is still low
  • Data is incomplete on day one

Do not judge EPC on day one. Let revenue data mature before drawing conclusions.


Infrastructure Issues

My domain is not loading

Check:

  • DNS records are correctly configured
  • DNS propagation has completed (can take several hours)
  • The domain is connected to the correct Cloudflare account and Site

HTTPS is not working

If using Cloudflare:

  • Check SSL mode (Flexible / Full / Full Strict)
  • Ensure certificates are active
  • Avoid switching SSL modes repeatedly — each change takes time to propagate

Incorrect SSL configuration is the most common cause of HTTPS errors.


My Site redirects infinitely

Common causes:

  • Conflicting HTTPS rules between Cloudflare and origin
  • Misconfigured SSL mode (e.g. Flexible when origin expects HTTPS)

Fix one layer at a time. Do not stack redirects.


Campaign & Optimization Issues

My Campaign is getting clicks but no conversions

Possible explanations:

  • Landing page and offer mismatch
  • Traffic is targeting the wrong market or intent
  • Poor traffic quality
  • Volume is too low to draw conclusions

Check Site Analytics before changing Campaign settings. Behavioral data often reveals the root cause before you need to touch tracking.


Automatic Sorting is producing unexpected results

Likely causes:

  • Not enough conversion data to sort meaningfully
  • Sorting weights are misconfigured
  • Offers being compared are not comparable in deal type or market

Switch to manual sorting until data stabilizes. You can also configure weights for new or exclusive casinos via Sorting Settings to give the engine a starting signal before data exists.


Traffic Filter is hard to reason about

This usually means:

  • Too many routing rules
  • Too many Site variations
  • Too little traffic to produce meaningful signal

Simplify the setup. Start with two Sites. Complexity hides signal.


General FAQ

Do I need Postback Tracking to use CasinoFlux?

No. You can launch Sites, track behavior via Site Analytics, and analyze performance without postback tracking.

Postback Tracking (Campaigns) unlocks real-time conversion tracking and traffic source optimization, but it is optional — especially when getting started.


Can I connect multiple traffic sources to one Site?

Yes. Create a separate Campaign for each traffic source and point them all to the same Site. This keeps your Site setup clean while attributing each source independently.


Can I use CasinoFlux without custom domains?

Yes. Every Site gets a Flux temporary URL slug that works immediately. Custom domains via Cloudflare are optional and recommended when scaling.


Is CasinoFlux a tracker like Voluum or RedTrack?

No. CasinoFlux is an iGaming-specific affiliate operations platform. Tracking and attribution are built in, but the platform is designed around managing offers, sites, reporting, and optimization — not generic campaign tracking.


Does CasinoFlux manage my ads or bids?

No. CasinoFlux tracks, attributes, and reports. It can upload conversion events back to your traffic source to improve smart bidding, but it does not control your ads or modify bids directly.


When to Contact Support

Contact support if:

  • API sync fails repeatedly after re-checking credentials
  • Data does not update after multiple sync cycles
  • You suspect a platform integration issue

Before contacting support:

  • Identify the category of the issue (setup, tracking, data, infrastructure)
  • Gather screenshots or error messages
  • Note timestamps, Campaign names, and Offer IDs involved

Most issues are caused by incomplete setup, impatience with delayed data, or over-complex configurations.

Fix fundamentals first. Then optimize.
